The club enjoyed a very successful year with 17 wins, the most wins ever scored by the club in a season, which placed us third on the Country Premiership and fourth on the Lightweight Premiership. This season was one of the most successful since the war. The club nearly won the Country Premiership only to be beaten by the narrowest of margins-four points by Barwon Rowing Club.
